About Emily Starr

Emily Starr grew up as a huge Star Trek fan. Crawling through Jefferies tubes and tinkering with the space/time continuum is just another Tuesday for our brave Reiki Master!

She was abducted by the (imaginary) Borg and assimilated into their Collective, but after she was rescued by the crew of the USS Enterprise she learned she could play with all the parts of her personality. She calls them her headmates, and they are her best friends!

You'd think you'd find her relaxing playing with the Star Trek holodeck most of the time, but she's seriously committed to adding emotional healing to her toolbox.

Emily is part of the Pretend Star Trek Medical Staff and administers Pretend Pills using the "Placebo THIS! Effect®️" to heal all sorts of emotional ailments.

She brings medicine from the 32nd Century, in emoji. Although it's pretend, when some part of your brain accepts a possibility and presses the "Believe All the Things” button, the whole experience feels as if it's really happening. And even if things don’t exist in this reality, might they exist in another reality?
