We can't say much about aliens but if they are out there, they will contact Dr. Eleanor "Ellie" Arroway first!
In the novel and movie Contact, written by Carl Sagan in 1985, Dr. Arroway finds an anomalous signal coming from the star Vega with a series of prime numbers.
In a similar way, it was a series of synchronicities and amazing coincidences that brought Ellie to the Space Croissant team.
In real life, Ellie has experience with the kinds of spiritual practices that only master meditators tend to have. She takes the so called "spiritual chills" to a next level where she is able to methodically study them, hence the name choice.
